The Rainforest Fund’s 21st Birthday Celebration Benefit Concert, produced by Trudie Styler and featuring Sting and Friends will take place on May 13, 2010 at Carnegie Hall, followed by a gala dinner at the Plaza Hotel’s Grand Ballroom.
Sting, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Dame Shirley Bassey are to headline this time.
Lady Gaga will duet with Sir Elton John and Sting. Speaking about the Rainforest Fund concert, Styler said she was very excited about the concert, describing Gaga as “a great woman”. “It’s a winning combination – we’re going to have a riotous time up there,” she said of the gig, which takes pace on 13 May.
