At the end of Elvis Costello’s set, all 3 members of the Police raced on stage dressed up like Elvis with wigs, glasses and entire Elvis clothing, and they danced about the stage with guitars. During De do do do…, Sting several times threw in these lines: “Here she comes walking down the street singing dododadadadumdum”. The first encore didn’t start with Roxanne, instead it began with a full version of Purple Haze (watch it here and here) and after Every breath you take, they launched into “I’ve been down so long”! During Roxanne Sting sang a verse of “Once I had a secret love”.
