Andy Summers commented the following to an Australian journalist when being asked about a new album: “That’s down to Sting really,” Summers says. “He has to decide if he wants to take time off to do that. I think there is a big prize waiting there, if one wants to put in the effort, but we don’t sit around wondering whether or not we should make a record. It’s so obvious. If you want to take six months off after the tour, then yes, we could do it.”
