CBS is currently working on the first pilot episode of “THE POLICE – THE EARLY YEARS” depicting how Sting, Stewart and Andy met and founded The Police. Jon Turtletaub, an executive producer with “Jericho”, created the project, which was originally set at NBC Universal with Turtletaub as the writer. About 10 days ago, it moved to CBS Paramount Network TV, and after a rewrite by Turtletaub, CBS picked it up to pilot. Expectations are high, and especially for the fans, new music is to be featured, as well as unreleased material. Who will play the roles of the Police members remains unknown, although one credible source spotted Hayden Christiansen at CBS studios.
