Gibson Guitar’s website has named Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham as the number one rock drummer of all time. The list is a cross-section of rock greats from all generations including the Beatles’ Ringo Star (10), The Police’s Stewart Copeland (9) and The Who’s Keith Moon (3). Other top rock drummers included on the list include Josh Freese of A Perfect Circle, Devo and Nine Inch Nails (8), Metallica’s Lars Ulrich (5), and Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Them Crooked Vultures vet Dave Grohl (4).
