Grammy.com announced that MusiCares will honour James Taylor as person of the year. This will take place on February 6th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The celebration is highlighted by an awards presentation and tribute concert featuring the Dixie Chicks, Carole King, Alison Krauss, Randy Newman, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, Sting and more, along with a special performance by James Taylor. Funds raised help support MusiCares’ health and human service programs.
Critical note: we are sure we know someone as well for next year’s award, he works in one of the homeless centers in Brussels … and does make a difference.
