THE POLICE LIVE IN MADRID FOR LIVE 8 LATINO

Fundación ALAS (America Latina en Accion Solidaira) is working on Live 8 Latino, a music festival taking place on March 29 in Buenos Aires, Madrid, New York and Mexico City with latin and international acts performing together in what is announced as Latin America’s biggest charity musical event. Rumours about the artists who will join the event include the likes of Shakira, Alejandro Sanz, Ricardo Arjona and U2 in Mexico City, Roger Waters with Soda Stereo, Maná and Diego Torre in Buenos Aires, and The Police with Paul McCartney as a special act in Madrid. Ricky Martin, Luis Miguel, Lenny Kravitz, Enrique Iglesias and Madonna are said to be among the artist “almost confirmed” for the concert taking place in New York. No official news has been made available about the event so far.
