Duke's Englishman in NY is really cool!

Duke McDonald
Another great weekend at Viking Grace has come and gone, and it was a blast as usual. Thanks to all the Grace family. It was great to see you again. This clip is dedicated to my friends Riina and Jukka who seemed to enjoy my version of 'Englishman' and absolutely insisted that I upload it as soon as humanly possible. Thanks, guys. I needed that push. 😉

Waitin' for the break of day - Lyrics (video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=8guEORR0Hjo)

[Intro: Shaggy]
Right now da ting hopefully get real
Right now da ting hopefully get real
Right now da ting hopefully get real
Right now da ting hopefully get real
I wait no corners if they cut no deal

[Pre-Chorus: Sting]
When the sun goes down
Aligned, the world won't stay
Come lay down here beside me
Waitin' for the break of day

[Chorus: Sting]
In the darkest night
The moon she stays away
Come on, hold me close tonight
We're waitin' for the break of day
Come and hold me close tonight
Waitin' for the break of day (for the break, for the break)

[Verse: Shaggy]
Yeah! Blue moon rising
Tides and dark skies
Overnight passing ships will collide
Overside clearly seen at moon-tide
Chest full belly
I think I'm swallowed by
Pace back and forth
Still can't find the motion
Weary hands tremor
So they pray up devotion
A minimum toll
So the soul must pay
With tears streaming down
Cry for the break of day
[Pre-Chorus: Sting]
In the fallin' rain
All your trust betrayed
Them that try to ease your pain
Are waitin' for the break of day

[Chorus: Sting]
When the laws are wicked
You're forced to disobey
Stand out there on the picket line
Waitin' for the break of day
You stand out there on the picket line
Waitin' for the break of day

[Bridge: Sting]
You see some politicians
You hear the things they say
You hear the falseness in their positions
We're waitin' for the break of day

[Outro: Sting]
When the light of wisdom
Pines itself away
There is yet another kingdom
Waitin' for the break of day
There is yet another kingdom
Waitin' for the break of day

Some 44/876 review comments:
- These are staggeringly, beautifully unselfconscious men, insulated by success, and they have honestly no idea how ludicrous they look and sound.
- In some ways, this album is boundary-breaking: it batters through good taste, though its reggae-lite template is musically forgettable.

Have a nice weekend.
