DVD TWENTIETH CENTURY BLUES – THE SONGS OF NOEL COWARD

DVD Brazil released the DVD 20th Century Blues which features Elton John, Sting, Pet Shop Boys, Suede, Raissa, Marianne Faithfull, Divine Comedy, Shola Ama, Robbie Williams.

Fifty, sixty, seventy years ago, Noel Coward was writing songs which – as this DVD proves – would remain acutely pertinent even at the end of the century, a century he had dominated as one of Britain’s most famous, most talented sons. More than any other figure, Noel Coward defined Britishness for an era and wrote the soundtrack, too.
This DVD release celebrates his genius at a gala performance for the Red Hot Charitable Trust featuring artists such as Elton John, Robbie Williams and Sting.
