After an earlier failed attempt some years ago (back in 2001 there were plans for a Pompeii concert on 24/09/01, but this was cancelled because of 9/11), Sting and the Labeque Sisters will finally perform together, that is, with Katia Labeque:
– Sting will perform on her album “Shape of my heart” to be released on October 30, Sting is performing some of his songs in a classic/catoque way. The entire tracklist is:

4. My Funny Valentine
5. Prélude n°4 in E minor
6. Exit music
7. Notes to the future
8. Because
9. Besame mucho
10. Gnossienne n°3

– Sting will perform with Katia Labeque on stage.
It was in fact pianist Katia Labeque who introduced Sting to Dowland’s music in the early nineties in a few informal performances of Dowland’s ‘Come, Heavy Sleep’, ‘Can She Excuse My Wrongs?’ and ‘Fine Knack for Ladies’, all of which appear on the Dowland album.
