On Sunday 20 December at 7:30 pm GMT, Kathryn Tickell will be joined by very special guest Sting and other hand-picked key collaborators and friends from her musical life to celebrate The Sage Gateshead’s 5th Birthday. The event wil take place at Hall One, at The Sage Gateshead
Kathryn Tickell, Northumbrian piper, fiddle player, composer and the new Artistic Director of Folkworks presents a packed evening of entertainment. Over the years Kathryn Tickell has collaborated with a huge range of international artists and is in great demand as a performer. Special guests confirmed to date include: international recording artist, Sting; members of the Kathryn Tickell Band; past and present members of Folkestra, The Sage Gateshead’s youth folk ensemble.
