According to a Daily Telegraph article, angry fans demanded refunds at Sting’s Melbourne show on Friday night after complaining about the venue’s poor sound quality. Fans towards the rear of the bowl stormed out, saying they couldn’t hear him. Others complained that the venue was too crowded. “When the concert started there was no sound,” one disgruntled fan said. “We waited an extra 10 minutes and there was still no sound.” Another concert-goer complained it was hard to hear when the sound did come on, and one fan said the acoustics were “terrible”.
