A New York burlesque club part owned by David Bowie and Sting has been left homeless after its Manhattan landlord pulled out of a deal at the last minute. Club boss Ivan Kane planned to launch Forty Deuce on West 21st Street, following successful chains in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. He secured licenses and a deal for a property – but the landlord reneged on the agreement, leaving Kane and his club without a home. However, the entrepreneur is determined to continue his plans, with the two British rockers as partners. He tells the New York Post, “I’m coming to New York next week, and I’m not leaving until I find a place.”
