Sting and Hasidic reggae artist Matisyahu (Matthew Miller) performed together during Roxanne at Sting’s performance at Ramat Gan Stadium near Tel Aviv on June 8, 2006. Mastisyahu not only accompanied Sting but also opened the show.
It was Sting’s first concert in 12 years that took place in Israel. You can watch live video excerpts here or here.
The four-piece band includes Sting’s long-time band mate Dominic Miller and Lyle Workman on guitars and Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums.
