Stewart has composed music for the “Ben Hur LIVE” Megashow, “a spectacular live-experience to the arenas of Europe”. The German production is to celebrate its world premier in London on September 15, 2009. Franz Abraham – with his company ART CONCERTS – is the producer of the show. 15 years in the making, this idea has developed into a concept which he has constantly refined and which he will now bring to the stage by using the latest technology. To describe the spectacular event, the London Times quoted Franz Abraham: The show will combine the power of a rock concert, the speed of a Broadway musical, the standard of great theater and the visual opulence of a Hollywood blockbuster. The audience can look forward to an unprecedented variety of finest entertainment. The world premier will take place on September 15, 2009 in the O2-arena, London, followed by the premier in Germany on September 25, 2009 in Hamburg. BEN HUR LIVE© will then tour several cities in Germany, namely Braunschweig, Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Stuttgart and Munich before heading on to European capitals, among them Paris, Madrid and Lisbon.
