As expected, also Sting contributes to the efforts to help the tsunami victims. A charity concert will be performed on Thursday, February 10th at 7.00PM at the Leeuwin Estate in Perth, Australia and 100% of the net proceeds will be donated to the relief efforts.
Specific information about which agencies will receive the proceeds and ticket sales will be announced soon.
Sting already has two sold-out shows booked at the 6,000-capacity venue for Feb. 12 and 13. The artist, who had been booked to play a now canceled Feb. 9 show in severely hit Sri Lanka, will resume his Sacred Love tour Monday (Jan. 10) in Singapore, visiting Japan, Korea and Malaysia before Australia.
