Ahead of the LSO St Lukes gig in London on October 4, Sting will perform a rehearsal concert to be held at LSO St.Lukes on October 3 at 8PM GMT for Sting.com fanclub members.
Sting is also preparing for some TV shows to promote his forthcoming new album “Songs from the Labyrinth”:
– The Ellen Degeneres show which is being taped on September 20, for broadcast on September 28: Ellen’s guests on this show include Sting and Robert Downey Jr. The show is recorded in NBC Studios in Burbank, California, USA.
– Sting, together with Edin Karamazov, will make a guest performance at the Echo Classical Gala in Munich, Germany on October 22. In addition to performing a song from his forthcoming album ‘Songs From The Labyrinth’ Sting will also be presenting one of the awards. The Deutsche Phono-Akademie announced the 2006 winners of the ECHO-Klassik prizes in June. They are Germany’s top awards for the classical recording industry. The Gala will be shown on German television the same evening as”Echo der Stars”.
