MRS STING COMES TO AID ROOKIE FILMMAKER

PARK CITY, Utah (Hollywood Reporter) – Best known as the spouse of pop star Sting, Trudie Styler has her own career as actress, film producer and most recently short-film director.
She came to Sundance this year as the producer of “A Guide to Recognising Your Saints,” a labour of love from first-time writer-director Dito Montiel, who brought his hard-hitting New York memoir to the screen. Styler proved to be Montiel’s guardian angel, doggedly pushing the fragile project forward through an obstacle course of hurdles.
