Sting is one of the high-profile performers at a special concert of readings and music retelling the story of romantic composer Robert Schumann and his composer-wife Clara. The concert has been organised by the Countess of Chichester, in aid of Salisbury Cathedral choral foundation, and takes place in the Trinity chapel on Saturday, November 18, at 7PM. Tickets for the Trinity Chapel cost £200 (to include a reception in the Chapter House beforehand), or £100 without the reception. So very democratically priced :-). But, a fan can be lucky also: there will be a limited number of seats in the choir (unsighted and unreserved), available subject to a donation to the choral foundation – the suggested range is between £10 and £25.
