Sting and indigenous Australian singer Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu got together in Paris earlier in November to sing “Every Breath You Take” for French television. “There’s always something to learn from other musicians,” Sting told AFP in an interview. “There’s always an exchange … They will surprise you with what they can do or what they can add to your own music. Or you can teach them”. Sting was in Paris for the promotion of his new album, “If On A Winter’s Night”, celebrating the winter season through traditional music and instruments, as well as his own songs. The Sting-Gurrumul number will be broadcast on December 16 on the France 4 network.
