STING AND IPHONE: BAD MARRIAGE

One might think celebrities would have multiple cellphones or at least use a smart phone to help manage their Rolodexes, but that?s not the case for some of the boldface names gathered at Donna Karan?s Urban Zen loft Thursday night. Trumpeter Chris Botti uses a RIM BlackBerry and said that after four days of testing an Apple iPhone, the touch-screen interface still didn?t strike him as user-friendly. ?They remind me of the cellphone version of flat-top stoves,? he said. Trudie Styler, celebrating the launch of her new yoga DVD series, said her kids call her ?Wilma Flintstone? because of her technological ineptness. ?I?m really not good with my cellphone,? she said. ?Videogames, definitely not. I would hope my DVDs would help people get away from all that.? Her husband, Sting, owns an iPhone, but rarely uses it, he said. ?I use my laptop to email. That?s really it. Although Tiger Woods has been calling my cellphone all week,? he joked. ?I wonder what he wants??
