Contact Music reported that Sting invited the Black Eyed Peas to a cosy home-cooked meal in an effort to gain inspiration ahead of their studio collaboration. In order to spiritually connect with the band before working with them, Sting asked them to be his guests at a civilised dinner party at his English country retreat – an invitation the American stars couldn’t resist. Contact Music reports furthermore that singer Fergie stated that “He has a farm where he and wife Trudie grow everything they eat. We had this wonderful dinner where he told us his family is the one thing that keeps him grounded.”
