STING ON SIRIUS XM RADIO SHOW

SIRIUS XM Radio announced that it will launch a new monthly show, “Linked–Connecting the Classics,” on SIRIUS XM Pops, SIRIUS channel 79 and XM channel 77. The show, hosted by New York Philharmonic and Detroit Symphony Orchestra Board member Peter Cummings, will explore the various ways classical music connects with other musical genres, including rock, pop and jazz as well as various aspects of popular culture. The debut show on Saturday, May 22 at 9:00 am ET will feature as special guest Sting. During the show, Sting will share with listeners how he finds inspiration in classical music, including his morning ritual: starting his day listening to Bach. Additionally, SIRIUS XM listeners will have the opportunity to hear several new recordings of “Roxanne” and “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic.”
