STING’S NEW TRACK FOR THE … BRŰNO MOVIE

theBRŰNOmovie.com website has a rather hilarious article about the new upcoming single for the movie: Bono and Chris Martin have collaborated on a single that mocks the efforts of Band Aid. Comic Sacha Baron Cohen has roped them in to record a single for his latest movie – all about his camp alter-ego, Bruno. The film’s Dove of Peace track has already been part-recorded in the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Lyrics include: “For people of Africa who live in hell/ They will never wear Chanel.” Sting and The Village People apparently also contributed. And Madonna and Sir Elton John are rumoured to be getting involved, too.
The full movie title is in fact “Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male” and features a scene in which Bruno “releases a brilliantly cheesy but subversive single, Dove Of Peace, which mocks the likes of Band Aid”.
