Collected by established dealers, first-time buyers and the gossip-column rich, Ladj Ly, by the French artist known as JR, has become “unbelievably hot”. So “hot” that Trudie Styler has bought a print of Ladj Ly. She likes it that you “can’t pin JR down . . . like a lot of great artists, hes enigmatic”. We find his work … quite ugly in fact.
