NEW ALBUM STING NOW ALSO HAS A TITLE

According to some online CD-sellers, Sting will be releasing his new studio album entitled “If On A Winter’s Night” on October 26 2009 under the Deutsche Grammophon label. Ibrahim Maâlouf will be one of the artists. He is a trumpeter, composer, arranger, and trumpet instructor, born in Beirut, Lebanon and now living in France. He worked with Sting in Steve Nieve’s “Welcome to the Voice” where he performed trumpet solos.
The Emmy winning film production team Eichwalder, Oliva & Sacherer will be recording a sting concert in autumn, taking place in an ancient church. This would be for a DVD release. We believe this will be a live version of the forthcoming new album, as was also done with previous CD releases.
A latest check showed that the url www.ifonawintersnight.com was booked last April, and has as title “Sting – Winter Album”.
