Lorenzo Cherubini alias Jovanotti, in the unusual role of the reciting voice of the musical fable “Peter and the Wolf” by Prokofiev, will inaugurate the first edition of “Musica Re”, the multi-musical festival programmed for September 9th to the 16th in Reggio Emilia (Italy). The idea of this music festival comes from Andrea Griminelli, internationally acclaimed classical flautist and it mixes classical and pop music together in a nonchalant way.
After the opening evening with Jovanotti and the Mariinsky Young Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Gianandrea Noseda, the festival will continue with high quality artists such as Sting, Lucio Dalla, Deborah Harry and Filippa Giordano, who will perform original film scores accompanied by the Verdi Festival Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Luis Bacalov and Andrea Morricone.
