“Together As One” by “World Music” pioneer Gregg Kofi Brown features a world-wide cast of collaborators to guest on his solo debut, including Sting and Dominic Miller who perform on a new version of “Lullaby To An Anxious Child” (MP3). In addition, the album also contains soulful ballads with Gabrielle, Des’ree and Roachford (“Wake Up The Morning”), on smooth jazz gems (“Tender Eyes” featuring guitarist Dominic Miller) (MP3), funky jazz joints (“Shadow” with drummer Billy Cobham) and authentic Afro-Latin grooves (“Aya A” with percussionist Airto Moreira) where Brown’s lyrically conscious Ubuntu class really shines through.
